not going to lie, the first half of this book is sooooo slow。 It was hard to get through and it was my first time reading from so many different points of view, I had trouble keeping up。 However, the second half of the book totally made up for it。 I love the unique cast of characters Leigh created, especially Kaz, Inej, and Jesper。 I wasn’t a fan of Nina at first, but she definitely grew on me。 Even Matthias became bearable towards the end。 Wylan was the only one I didn’t really care one way or not going to lie, the first half of this book is sooooo slow。 It was hard to get through and it was my first time reading from so many different points of view, I had trouble keeping up。 However, the second half of the book totally made up for it。 I love the unique cast of characters Leigh created, especially Kaz, Inej, and Jesper。 I wasn’t a fan of Nina at first, but she definitely grew on me。 Even Matthias became bearable towards the end。 Wylan was the only one I didn’t really care one way or another for。 I feel like he didn’t have a major presence in the story, at least not so much as the rest of the crows。 It was so frustrating to read Kaz and Inej interactions oh my gosh, I wanted to pull my hair out bc they both love each other but they just can’t make it work。 。。。more

This book most certainly lived up to the hype。 It was exciting, fast paced, and the characters were each unique and special in their own way。 Six of Crows drew me in and didn’t let me out until I closed the cover and finished reading it。 Every second away from the book had me longing to finish it, from morning to night。 My favorite parts were the beginning and all of the flashbacks。 I also loved all of Kaz and Inej’s interactions。 Also, the plot twist at the end (even though there were several) This book most certainly lived up to the hype。 It was exciting, fast paced, and the characters were each unique and special in their own way。 Six of Crows drew me in and didn’t let me out until I closed the cover and finished reading it。 Every second away from the book had me longing to finish it, from morning to night。 My favorite parts were the beginning and all of the flashbacks。 I also loved all of Kaz and Inej’s interactions。 Also, the plot twist at the end (even though there were several) was unpredictable and I didn’t see it coming。 The only complaints I had for this book was that the ending seemed to kind of drag on。 However, I am looking forward to reading the next book。 。。。more

WoW。 I thoroughly enjoyed this book。 It is so worth the five-star rating!Six outcasts。 One heist。 Can they pull it off?The book is brilliant。 Simply brilliant。 It awes you in levels you would never have experienced。 I dove into this book, wanting to read about a heist and that is exactly what I got - a perfect heist。 I totally love the crew。 I loved how they compliment each other。 I love their weird-ass friendships and the love-hate relationships。There is nothing much I can say about this book, WoW。 I thoroughly enjoyed this book。 It is so worth the five-star rating!Six outcasts。 One heist。 Can they pull it off?The book is brilliant。 Simply brilliant。 It awes you in levels you would never have experienced。 I dove into this book, wanting to read about a heist and that is exactly what I got - a perfect heist。 I totally love the crew。 I loved how they compliment each other。 I love their weird-ass friendships and the love-hate relationships。There is nothing much I can say about this book, other than the fact that it was PHENOMENAL。 Diving right into the Crooked Kingdom!! 。。。more

I have never navigated towards fantasy books so reading this was super out of my comfort zone but boyyyyy am I happy I took that risk。 This book was like no other and the author is a genius at giving details that create a vivid picture in the mind。I absolutely loved how the chapters switch POVs, and fell in love with all of the characters and all their different personalities。 I would have to say Inej is my favorite character (who doesn’t love a bad ass acrobatic girl) but then again they are al I have never navigated towards fantasy books so reading this was super out of my comfort zone but boyyyyy am I happy I took that risk。 This book was like no other and the author is a genius at giving details that create a vivid picture in the mind。I absolutely loved how the chapters switch POVs, and fell in love with all of the characters and all their different personalities。 I would have to say Inej is my favorite character (who doesn’t love a bad ass acrobatic girl) but then again they are all too knotch so it’s hard to pick one (especially Nina and Kaz too)! My only issue with the book is that it took me about 70 pages to really get into the book and I’m still confused why the author decided to start with the Joost chapter (idk it just seems unnecessary??)。 BUT once I got into the book I couldn’t put it down! I give the book a massive chefs kiss 。。。more

Good, but kept checking progress % because thought story was near conclusion。 Kept going on and on。 Got through because my 12yo insisted。 There was more humor in first book than second。

Wow, I can definitely see why this book is so popular。This was so good!More than anything I loved the cast of characters。 Yes, there was adventure and an interesting heist story and a rich, fantasy world。 But it’s the characters that really stood out to me。 They were so complex and just real。 Their backgrounds, their struggles, their emotions their growth, everything about them was captivating。 I can’t wait to go onto the next one!

UM。 WOAH。 Okay, this book was a roller-coaster from start to finish but it was truly amazing。 I love all the crows so much and each one of their characteristics as well。 They are all so different and they work so well together, forming relationships and friendships in the process。 Yes, I love Kaz, probably a little too much, but honestly, I really enjoyed reading about Nina and Matthias (literal enemies to unconfirmed lovers) even though at times I threw the book across the room because of Matth UM。 WOAH。 Okay, this book was a roller-coaster from start to finish but it was truly amazing。 I love all the crows so much and each one of their characteristics as well。 They are all so different and they work so well together, forming relationships and friendships in the process。 Yes, I love Kaz, probably a little too much, but honestly, I really enjoyed reading about Nina and Matthias (literal enemies to unconfirmed lovers) even though at times I threw the book across the room because of Matthias' behavior。 Can't wait for Crooked Kingdom and the Netflix show !! 。。。more

OH MY GOSH I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCHI fell in love with all of the characters, especially Inej。 She just reminds me of myself。 And their backstories were so interesting。 I do wish that their flashbacks hadn't been so close together。 It felt kind of like an info dump, but I didn't mind it too much。The banter in this book is so good。 All of these little funny moments were thrown in and it made me laugh so hard。AND OH MY GOSH THE PLOT TWISTSI love a book that keeps me guessing。 And this book did ex OH MY GOSH I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCHI fell in love with all of the characters, especially Inej。 She just reminds me of myself。 And their backstories were so interesting。 I do wish that their flashbacks hadn't been so close together。 It felt kind of like an info dump, but I didn't mind it too much。The banter in this book is so good。 All of these little funny moments were thrown in and it made me laugh so hard。AND OH MY GOSH THE PLOT TWISTSI love a book that keeps me guessing。 And this book did exactly that。 Let me just say, Kaz is a freaking mastermind。 Like that plan to get into the Ice Court was so dang intricate。 Can't wait to read book 2!!!!! 。。。more
