I absolutely love the art style， but the way the story is written is sort of confusing or at the very least， it’s not very entertaining。 But it IS only the first volume， so of course it has to establish the story before things can get interesting。

I thought this would be one of those kind of ironic manga where the girl is normal and the main character projects all kinds of weird things onto her but they get along anyway。 I wasn't far off， in a way， but it really is。。。 boring。In a two chapters， we've been introduced to four main characters， two of which are stereotypes right out of a dating sim。 One can be summed up as a pushy half-Japanese girl who puts on an act to be popular with the other girls and the other is an older-student ice que I thought this would be one of those kind of ironic manga where the girl is normal and the main character projects all kinds of weird things onto her but they get along anyway。 I wasn't far off， in a way， but it really is。。。 boring。In a two chapters， we've been introduced to four main characters， two of which are stereotypes right out of a dating sim。 One can be summed up as a pushy half-Japanese girl who puts on an act to be popular with the other girls and the other is an older-student ice queen。 The other two are the hero， an otaku who tries not to stand out （but does anyway because he's ineffective at being inconspicuous） and a girl who isn't trying to fade into the background but does because she's so "boring。"And that's what this manga is。 Boring。 It fades into the background of anime cliche and boring dating sim prose。 If you want a self-aware dating sim manga that's actually funny， you're better off looking at The World God Only Knows （if anyone ever releases it in the US。。。 *sigh） 。。。more
