Bought to make castle on the cover。 Very cute。Instructions for that castle， not included in the book。 A smaller similar castle was， so I went on BrickLink。com & created a wish list for all the bricks I’d need。 BrickLink was fabulous。 You enter the bricks you want & it auto creates shopping carts to buy the list。 Very easy。 Waited a couple months for all brick orders to arrive。 All very affordable， but some came from Europe， so shipping wasn’t quick。 Tried to assemble castle。 Shopping list in the Bought to make castle on the cover。 Very cute。Instructions for that castle， not included in the book。 A smaller similar castle was， so I went on BrickLink。com & created a wish list for all the bricks I’d need。 BrickLink was fabulous。 You enter the bricks you want & it auto creates shopping carts to buy the list。 Very easy。 Waited a couple months for all brick orders to arrive。 All very affordable， but some came from Europe， so shipping wasn’t quick。 Tried to assemble castle。 Shopping list in the book was not complete。 Needed more bricks that weren’t counted in instructions。 Instructions were adequate for assembly， but not perfect。 With photos you could figure out the steps that were missing， but not perfect。 Mini castle is complete & adorable， but wish author had allowed expert builders to proof instructions & most importantly， brick list。 It’s tough to wait months for bricks， sit down to build & find you’re short 14 of the specialty bricks that had to be ordered from Lithuania。 If you have a largo LEGO inventory & can substitute comfortably here & there， you’ll love these quick & easy builds。 Designs are excellent， instructions ok & inventory list so， so。 。。。more

This book delivered exactly as titled， instructions and inspiration to build your own mini medieval world。 It also includes the history and evolution of （non-Lego） castle building。 Options are provided for alternative Lego pieces to use if you don’t have exactly what is shown。
